Is it safe?

Ultrasound cavitation and Radiofrequency are safe procedures with medically proven results. Firstly your therapist will go through a detailed medical consultation questionnaire. Patients with kidney or liver failure, carrying a pacemaker or electronic device or who are pregnant, lactating have hypertriglyceridemia or hypercholesterolemia should avoid this procedure.

Does it hurt?

There is no pain with either treatment. The only sensations you will experience will be a slight warming on the skin from the radio frequency and high pitch ringing noise with the ultrasound.

Which areas of the body can be treated?

Cavitation can be performed on the calves, knees, thighs, buttocks, stomach, arms. Radiofrequency can be used on all areas of the body including the face.

How many treatments are needed?

We recommend 8 treatments on any one area, to achieve the best results. This can be reviewed at any time. For the face and neck we recommend 4 – 6 weekly treatments, to kick start the process followed by a further 4 treatments every 2 to 3 months.

What results can I expect?

It is not uncommon to lose between 5 – 10cm in one treatment. It is recommended to follow up with radio frequency which helps with skin tightening and stimulation of the lymphatic system.

Is everyone suitable for the treatment?

One of our aesthetic consultants will carry out a full health and medical questionnaire to ensure that you are suitable for the treatment.
